Here in your community, there is a special place where lives are being restored each day. Within the walls of Tau House women are quietly recovering from chemical dependency. There are no bells, no whistles, no fanfare – just women working intently to gain independence and financial stability.
After the chaos and confusion of drug and alcohol abuse, these women need a calm and caring place where they can learn the skills to live free from addiction. At Tau House, they take the first steps to rebuilding their lives and relationships with their children, friends and family. They also gain self-confidence and valuable skills as they work for local employers.
At Tau House we believe that chemically dependent women need a place to call “home” as they learn how to make new choices for their future.
Open since 1984, Tau House is the only women’s halfway house in Kent and Sussex Counties.
